They say if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life. But, it’s not as simple as that, no matter how much you love what you’re doing. The reality is, you need to work hard for it. It’s the correct sentiment.
I know the days, when you like to quit and just stop in the middle of the long road. I know the days, when you really love to do it but something is blocking your way. That is the reality, you need to be consistently good and work for it to be successful in your craft.
Having a goal in mind or loving it are not really the shortcut, it’s just the fuel to kick start the true work. When I started this blog, I know that I’m loving what I do. While juggling life, work and personal incapacity and now business. I’d come in the realization that it’s not enough so, I’d like to share some of the key points that I feel relevant on this topic.
1. Embracing the hustle
I love sharing stories whether through visual or in text. I know how important it is on spreading stories in the whole wide world. Yes, I feel that I can write now in a good manner but, it’s not as easy as it sounds at first try. I changed the way I think and set myself to embrace the hustle with a goal in mind of producing valuable and purposeful work. It was never easy but, I learned a lot throughout the process.
2. Don’t play it safe
Taking risk is one of the hardest way that life gave us. You will have lots of doubt, fears or thoughts of giving up. But, I really glad that I am still kicking and sustaining this blog until now. I feel that the harder I work, the more luckier I am. There’s so much reasons why I need to give up. There’s the pressure of society or not having enough money to renew this domain. But, it’s really worth it. Why? because, of the warm supports that I am getting. From my family, fiancé and even from my uncle. How cool is that, right?
3. Don’t forget to enjoy little things
I may not get frequent comments or feedback on my works from different people in the world or a big following on my page. But, one person who truly care is enough. She’s the one who constantly say that I can do it which gives me the energy and turn negative thoughts into positive one. It’s my fiancé in just one smiles all doubts will vanished instantly. Also, add on the support of my family and friends. That is really insane to have. It’s genuine and I appreciate every one of them.
“Work hard on the things you love.”
If you have something in mind that is relevant on this week post, love to know your feedback. Just drop it bellow. I hope I give value on this one if you read it please share it also it’ll mean a world to me.
